I'm a psychology student in mt san antonio college... and this is my behavior change blog...
my target behavior is... exercising...
i never exercise anymore due to work and too much school work...
these are just excuses if i look at it closely...
i normally do have time to exercise, but i don't and hang out with friends or go online.
I really enjoy being lazy, and one day i realized that i've gained 25 pounds... *shock*
so i decided to try to exercise even more.

In fact, my situation is the same as yours. I choose to go online, and later say that I don't have time to exercise.
But I hope this project thing helps you in achieving your goal!

Hello Iuri, I bought a stationary bycycle and put it right in front of my bed so I would have to look at it constantly and think about working out. It worked! I think about it all the time, but never actually get on it. LOL. You have a great goal, and I wish you all the best in achieving it. Good luck! Lisa
ReplyDeleteOne of the pieces of advice I get from alot of my friends who work out effectively is to bring a small notebook with you and keep track of all the exercies, reps, sets, and weight you are using. That way you know exactly what you've been doing so you can always push yourself just a little harder the next time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, my behavior change is alot similiar to yours and I think the one thing that gets me is that i'll go consistently for a week or two then i'll decide one day I don't want to go. After that I almost never go back for another week or more. So in my opinion make a workout and schedule and constantly stick with it no matter what.
